What is included in my website package?

With Horny Designs Website Creator you get your own domain name (subject to availability) and unlimited access to our online software so you can change/edit your site whenever, however you like.

Does it matter if i am on a mac, pc or tablet?

No, our online software works on all laptops, PC’s and iPad Tablets. Some features may not work on Android Tablets such as Asus Transformer and Samsung Galaxy Tab

I already have my own domain name – can i use it with my Horny Designs Website?

Yes, no problems, when signing up just specify you have your own domain name and enter it into the box provided. You will then need to change the name servers of the domain name to the following:

I have just signed up but when i visit my website address i can't see anything?

If we registered the domain name then it will take up to 24 hours to appear on our server. This can be a lot quicker depending on your ISP (internet service provider i.e. BT, Virgin, Sky etc.) If you have your own domain and have changed the name servers to our server then this can also take up to 24 hours to appear, again, depending on your ISP.

How do I edit my website?

Once you sign up for our software you will get a confirmation email confirming everything including where to login (www.yourdomain.co.uk/admin), your username and password. If you already have your own domain we will include instructions on how to point it to our server.

Do i need any programming or web design skills to edit my site?

No, all the technical stuff is done behind the scenes leaving you to just choose backgrounds, colour schemes and add your content.

How long does it take to create a website?

It can take as little as 10 minutes to put a website together. This also depends on how many pages you create and whether you have already written the text.

Can i tell how many people are viewing my website?

You can, we have a section in preferences for you to paste in any tracking id you wish. This will then be applied to every page of the website automatically.

What internet browsers does my website support?

All of them, at least all of the ones we know about we have tested  the websites our software produces in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, Android , iPhone and iPad Browsers.

Can i cancel at any time?

Yes, there is no contract period at all. You can cancel at anytime.
